If your manuscript is not accepted, you are welcome to resubmit it after 6 months, once you’ve completed a thorough second round of editing.

- Once the sample is approved for content and quality by the TLB team, it will be assessed for publishing eligibility. The sample may qualify for either Basic or Traditional Prime Publishing, or may not be selected. Authors will receive an email confirming their eligibility status
- If the sample is selected, authors must submit their complete manuscript to manuscript@tlbcitypublishing.com
- Our editorial team will then conduct a thorough review of the full manuscript.
- Should the complete manuscript be selected for publishing, a Project Manager will be assigned based on availability. A formal agreement and MOU will then be executed with the author.
PUBLISHING PROJECT PIPELINE
- The Client shall provide an unlocked document in .doc or .docx format containing the entirety of the draft of the Book.
- Manuscript will be sent for formatting.
- Book cover shall be designed by TLB CITY up to the satisfaction of the author.
- After final manuscript is ready for publishing, ISBN shall be allotted.
- MRP and publishing date shall be finalized.
- One dummy / sample copy will be sent to the Author: Any further changes / modifications may be chargeable, unless caused by an error by Project Team.
- Minimum 12 and maximum 24 ARCs (cost of book will be borne by author, and is not included in the package) can be sent for reading, buzz creation and early reviews. This service is optional for authors.
- EBook through KDP and paperback and / or Hardback editions will be published.
- Author sales data through Amazon and website of TLB can be seen on live dashboard of www.tlbcitypublishing.com.
- An author can choose to have first print of the paperbacks comprising of atleast 12 copies, cost of printing and shipping will be borne by author and is not included in the package.
- Once the book is published, documentation for copyright shall be carried out and the copyright certificate will be issue to the author within a year of Publishing.
BASIC CONSIDERATIONS FOR ALL AUTHORS BEFORE SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPT:
- The contents of the book is considered an original creation of the client. The project manager and project team will work to improve the creation in terms of content and presentation only. Under no circumstances, will the project manager change the book core theme, premise, story plot, characters or information contained in the book.
- The Client is responsible for fact-checking and making sure the content is plagiarism free. The project will be terminated if any evidence of plagiarism is found, no refund will be given. Use of generative AI for creation of the matter will be considered plagiarism unless previously declared.
- All fiction books shall be published in 65 gsm holmen natural shade paper and All non-fiction fiction books shall be published in 65 gsm white paper to ensure the best quality of pages.
- Book sizes will be 8×5 inch in general, but may be changed depending on genre and volume and will be decided by Project Manager
- Publishing services are offered in English, Hindi and all other languages covering a wide range of formats including prose and poetry, as well as fiction and non fiction across all genres.
- Cover print variation (glossy / matte) will depend on the cover design and will be decided by Project Manager.

Basic Self-Publishing Package: Available at ₹10,000 + applicable GST.
Distribution Channels: Your book will be made available for sale on Amazon KDP, the TLB website, Instagram, and through offline channels including literary runway shows, book fairs, and events participated in by TLB CITY.
Rights:
- The author retains complete discretion to choose all platforms, in addition to TLB, where they wish to sell their book. 100% of the royalty earned from these external platforms shall belong exclusively to the author.
- Any author may independently publish their work through Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and shall retain full control over sales and profits. TLB shall raise no objection to such publication and shall have no obligation to provide any support, services, or groundwork related to KDP publishing.
NOTE: Authors can re-publish their book through our Basic Self-Publishing Package.
Special Book Membership: To avail this feature, the author must obtain a Special Book Membership for the title they wish to publish through TLB.
Membership Fee: ₹1,18,000(inclusive of GST)
Process: Once the membership is activated, the author may submit a print-ready manuscript at manuscript@.tlbcitypublishing.com

Payment Schedule: Royalties shall be paid monthly or when they reach a threshold of ₹5000, whichever comes first.
Subsidiary Rights for Basic-Self Publishing: Income derived from subsidiary rights (such as translations, film rights) shall be shared 80% with the author, and 20% shall be retained by TLB CITY, after recoupment of costs.
Subsidiary Rights for Traditional-Prime Publishing: Income derived from subsidiary rights (such as translations, film rights) shall be shared 90% with the author, and 10% shall be retained by TLB CITY, after recoupment of costs.

- Note on Printing Costs: The printing cost is determined by page count and print volume. For these calculations, we use a standard estimate ( ₹150 per copy). As your print volume increases, the unit cost per unit decreases!
- Note on Stock Delivery: Shipping of stock to TLB City Office or Amazon warehouses is free. It is also free for delivery to Author’s home in Delhi, but variable for other cities .
